Thermal Energy Storage

HITEC University • August 2022 - June 2023

Improving TES Tank Efficiency through Fin Configuration, Our team focused on enhancing the efficiency of TES tanks through various fin configurations. The goal was to boost thermal energy storage capacity while reducing the time it takes to store said energy. To achieve this, we conducted numerical analyses of TES tanks on ANSYS Fluent and then validated the data through experiments.
